GOP Candidates

The GOP clown car has lightened it's load.

Mass quantities of pointless debates does not make this GOP clown circus seem any more relevant. If anything the more exposure the candidates get the more irrelevant they become.

A year ago the GOP candidates started forming exploratory committees to determine if they might run for Supreme Commander. I say Supreme Commander as a opposed to President after watching too many debates with gigantic egos in full bloom. It appears that the issue most of them share is narcissistic tendencies as the prime motivator. Gingrich, Romney and Cain seem almost consumed by the quest for power.

A List is Formed

Start with Mitt Romney since he is always running.
Herman Cain
Ron Paul
Newt Gingrich
Buddy Roemer
Tim Pawlenty
Rick Santorum
Gary Johnson
Jon Huntsman
Michele Bachmann
Rick Perry

In August Pawlenty drops out after bad polling Numbers in Iowa.
In December Herman Cain drops out after some of his indiscretions surface.
In December Gary Johnson switches teams and returns to his libertarian roots.
January 2012... First Bachmann, then Huntsman, then Perry drops out.

That leaves Romney and Newt struggling for 1st place in the polls and some real back biting in front of the cameras.
Ron Paul and Santorum descend into a distant 3rd & 4th.
Johnson & Roemer haven't really received the exposure the others had.
The media has a bad habit of marginalizing those that the pundits determine to be "not viable".

When asked about Newt vs Mitt, Buddy Roemer said "Mitt Romney represents the 1% and Newt Gingrich is his lobbyist".

In Florida Newt addressed a crowd and really demonstrated what happens when you mix batshit crazy and delusions of grandeur.
"By the end of my second term, we will have the first permanent base on the moon and it will be American."

Does anybody but Newt still consider Newt a viable candidate ?
C'mon, really ?
