WTF is going on around the world?

Israel is bombing the shit out of Lebanon. It looks like they are determined to "cleanse " the area of any and all Hezbollah.
Civilian casualties be damned, they are on a mission!
If it takes phosphorus rockets, than that's what it takes.
If they have to kill observers from the U.N., then that's what it takes.
Hezbollah and Hamas have history in the region as "resistance fighters".
Resistance that sometimes calls for taking hostages and sometimes they even behead their captives. Both considered to be radical Islamic factions.
Both have ties to Syria and Iran.

How do you tell the difference between an "act of war" and an "act of terrorism"?
Dropping bombs on women and children should qualify.
A preemptive invasion and occupation by a foreign power should qualify.
Oh wait, that could just as easily apply to the U.S. in Iraq.
Oh yeah, the U.S. and Israel has charged that Iran and Syria had a hand in the plan. The usual suspects...
All the while, the U.S. continues to ship MORE bombs to Israel and the Lebanese people continue to die. And again the usual suspects...

Bush sends Rice with a message that the U.S. won't back a ceasefire without a plan to end the conflict over Israel and it's borders.
Doublespeak and gibberish is all you can expect from BushCo.
Just look at the "plan" they had going into Iraq and how nicely that has progressed.
"Progressed" may have been the wrong word to use in this instance as that eludes there has been "progress" in Iraq and not that they are in the middle of a civil war.

As if things aren't bad enough, who else wants to get on the crazy train?
Speaking up for al-Qaida, Al-Zawahri calls for Muslims to rise up in a "holy war" against Israel and that al-Qaida views the whole world as a battlefield now.
Yeah that's what the world needs now, another jihad.
That's when the crazy Muslims come out of the shadows to show that the Nation of Islam is the Religion of Peace... Peace ? Yeah right...
That's just about as believable as Dubya being referred to as a "Compassionate Christian".
